Moms physical therapist called. She fell and thinks she broke part of her foot. She hopes to get back to work on Monday. She only started working with mom a few weeks ago. And couldn't get to moms because of the blizzard once or twice. Mom has been in extreme pain for weeks. The only good thing is that the therapist finally got doctor to prescribe some pain meds for mom. Cause of kidney disease they wouldn't. And getting the meds to mom was a circus and stressful for me. Now, I have to tell her the therapist probably broke her foot. Mom is stressed out from pain and other problems. Plus has anxiety disorder. She is going to keep worrying that the therapist wont come back for a long time. And she will have to work witb new person. I have very little emotional energy left right now to deal with mom.

Sorry, with all my own troubles I'm also trying to help my widowed mother get started on her own problems (both physical and emotional). It can be draining.

You can't take on your mom's worries. It is what it is and she is going to just have to deal with the situation.
