Omgosh I'm soooo happy!!!

I've been seeing this really sweet guy for 7 months this 26. He happens to be 20 yrs older then I am. I met him at the club I have known him for three yrs now. 


The club we go to is a club for people with mental health issues. I work the phones he works in the cafe. Its all volunteer no pay.


Well anyway we are considering moving in together. The thing is we'd lose our housing. But with both of us on state pay we can afford to pay full price. 


It was my idea. Took him by surprise. But ge seems to like it. He did say he would have to give it some thought.  But he didn't say yes but he didn't say no. 


I think I'd be surprised if he said yes right away. I'd be sad if he said no right away.

I belonged to a club house like that in St. Louis called Independence Center....I do not know of the rules like you mention of losing your housing....at time I was involved with Independence center I also lived in supportive housing thru program called places for people.....I gave them my SSDI and they paid my housing bills and gave me $50 week to live on.....I been off those things for many years now....I even got married for while but it did not last....so I just think be careful cause if it does not work out will you both become homeless without each other?

I'm going to piggyback on a bit of what bill said and also say maybe give the relationship at least another 5-11 months and then talk about moving in together. I'm in no way trying to be a Debbie Downer and rain on your parade, however if it didn't work out it'd probably take some time to get your housing back as there's always a very long waiting list; well it is here.

I'm sure neither one of us will get kicked out but I will take into consideration aboit waiting a few months like 5. It's just so hard because this is my first true love. I've never had this before so I'm not sure what to do with my feelings. My brother might freak. He's never met him. But that's not our fault. They never come to my state not even for holidays. I would LOVE for them to meet. Thank you all for listening
