Well friends,I am the worlds worst to call people sweetie,my friend,& honey. It is ment to be a jesture of love and compassion. I do not do it to be mean or to taunt anyone. I myself have really been called lots of other names not so nice and certainly not at all compassionate.I would never want to hurt anyone. If I have offended anyone please except my apoligy that was not my intentions. I am old enough to be probably everyone's Grandmama.

LMAO - I wonder about this often too. I tend not to use these terms in real life, but being in the southeastern US it is all too common to hear them. On DS I am really not offended by it - I don't know what the difference is either. And Pepper - i am by no means a "young thing" so tell your wife not to worry LOL
