Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I worked at a library on campus. A coworker had one of those "cloth necklaces on" that are, I think, called chokes. ANy way it must have choked her, cause she took it off. She left it. I called her apt (nobody had cell phones in those days) to tell her it was at work.
She was not there, but one of her roomates was.
As God is my witness, I thought those things were called halters. So when I told the room mate that her friend had left her halter at work, well, ...
AND I HAD TO TELL SOMEBODY ELSE WHAT I HAD SAID BEFORE I KNEW WHAT A FOOL I HAD MADE OF MYSELF!
I reminded my wife of that story the other day. She loves things like that about me. Not sure why, but she really laughs hard when I tell those stories to her.
