i had one commit suicide on the hood of the car three days after thanksgiving last year....i feel for you. i am glad you are ok. cars can be fixed or replaced.

OMG.. yea, we are ok.. I tried to get Alvin to stop but he didnt., We waited till we got home to check the damage.. My truck is totaled on the drivers side... Im so sad.... mainly cause the deer died. He could not have lived. We didnt see him till he hit.. DAMNIT

As upsetting as this was, maybe it was a blessing. Because you didn't see it you didn't have time to do anything. Had it been a second or 2 sooner, you may have swerved and then have something MUCH worse happen. Or that deer may have arrived at another time and someone else may have been involved in something tragic.

Feel for the tragic deer, but thank your lucky stars of the timing not being so tragic for you.

It was deer time to be called home. deer cross over gordon. yes I believe that there are animals in heaven. Sounds like deer had already leaped. dam timeing.
Thank God deer didn't hit the windshield.

yrs ago a deer hit grill on my car slide up the hood and ft windshield ( without cracking the glass) and slide acoss the top of the roof and flew off the bk of roof.
Dam the deer stunbled over ditch bk toward the woods. I had no choise but to shoot it.
A truck pulled up and took the deer as meat - food source. That freaked me.
Yrs ago I had a dodge colt and it had hoof marks on hood & roof and sides.
There was a lot of diffrent property's being cleared at that time, so animals were being evicted.
