My mom died in 2009. When she died my dad immediately went in to dementia. He died January 2013. My marriage ended in 2011. When I moved out, I had to leave 3 of the dogs with my ex and I brought the one dog with me. The cats had all died by then. The oldest dog died last year. Ginger, my dog, was all I had left.

I got a letter from the apt manager about Ginger's barking bothering the other tenants. I don't know why it's all of a sudden since I've been here 2 years. I used to have a Scottie and I went through this with him. Nothing worked. Not the citrone collar. Not the shock collar. Nothing worked.

I talked to my ex and he agreed to take Ginger. It's for the best. She has the other dogs and a fenced yard to play in. She will be fine. She's all I had. Now I have nothing.
