Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Love yourself, and give yourself what you need. We love you here, but you must find inner love for yourself.
I'm sorry that you think your family doesn't want you. That must hurt.
When you start to love yourself, and have faith in yourself, no one has the power anymore to hurt you.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so sad. I'm sorry you have such a family that doesn't let you know they love you. But you are loved here. Stay with us here, we care for you. Keep loving yourself.
Is there anything in particular that makes you feel that way? did they do or say anything or is it just your fear.
this is very interesting. a couple of days ago i was feeling
left out by my family.
it triggered something from the past at age 4.
my father did not want me. he stayed and provided.
presently that came to mind and threw me for a loop.
i did learn tho. there is absolutely nothing i can do to change
that hurt and loss. i am wasting my time thinking about it.
That seems like quite a generalization to me, Gooch. Your family may have criticism of you, .. or prefer this to that .. but few families completely reject other family members.
I think you are possibly reacting to a 'trigger memory' .. rather that your family doesn't want you.
I could be wrong .. but that is what I suspect.
I am sending you a friend request because I love and want you! Hope it helps to know that you are loved and wanted by many here.
My father committed suicide when I was 4 years old. It would be real easy for me to say that because he did that, he didn't care.... or didn't 'want' me. Sadly I think some people go about life without even a fleeting thought of how their actions can impact others. And most likely we have ALL--at some point--had a negative effect on someone else. Even if it was unintentional.
Your posts are often vague and confusing to me, so I can't really offer advice. But I hope you get things sorted and feel better.
