Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So, Monday This lady comes to the door (I was upstairs puttiing away laudry) my phone was downstairs, I try to take it everywhere I go in the house, especially when I'm alone, Put didn't.
Anyway, my mom called me (I'm at the shore) and says "didn't You hear the doorbell" I said no:It was a lady and her Dog. bell
I have a Ring video door cam....As the lady was walking away, I heard her talking to another lady on her phone, so lady on the phoe, told the lady with then dog, not to ring the doorbell, cause peole with Ocd repfress, That's the last thing I heard.
I did google ocd, theres alot of anxiety that comes with, and it said You don't really worry. rather: You just keep obsessing over past event's.
Just thinking bak to the event, not sure if I posted on this board or depression board, But, there was a two, incident's at the gym at home, the 'Y' where I was with another guy, and there was an young girl, Late teens, early 20's, I had made comment, ` Without thinking, she heard me. Aa I was leaving the 'Y' I noticed her reportiing me, a few mounth's after that event, I aot of aniety about it......Is the 'Y' gonna call the authoitys, am I call go to jail for herassment??
Second one was: I was on a bike, and another girl had gotten on another 20ish, she caught me looking, as she got off the bike, I followed (which I really don't remeber doing......there is couridour leedin to the bathrooms, and stairwell, she got to the hallway, but I stopped Just b4, and saw her glancing back at me........There was two incident's here at the gym at the shore, one like I guess about 7-8yrs ago, pre-pandemic anyway, well all these ar body-shaming.
So, I am just thingking, about, what I have been writing here, About this mentally ill guy, And when he used to over to my house and shamed, and hmiliated me, so, do You think that insident has anywhing to do with it??
And does all this have to with ptsd somehow??

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

I do not know the rest....who is body shaming who? I guess if a girl gets a comment that was said that she was not really supposed to hear she might be offended or take it as a compliment of course I could safely say she probably would not report you unless you said something offensive enough for her to fear getting raped....
and who knows why the girl glanced back....she could have noticed you oggling her body I assume which was a hot gal who regularly works out....but who gets body shamed that way? You? I do not know you so I do not know if you are obese and ashamed of that or what.....
anyway the OCD is more like repeating the same thing like washing your hands is one that I can easly give you there are many others.....many many others,.....and what ever she said about people with OCD I did not understand...typos....sometimes I understand intent but not today....
Definition from internet
“Obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD, is a mental disorder characterized by recurrent, persistent thoughts and images (obsessions) and ritualistic behaviors (compulsions) that interfere with a person's daily life and relationships”
OCD is often a response to anxiety. Are you concerned about what the neighbor was saying about you?
If you are worried that you have OCD or PTSD or something that is causing issues in your life I strongly encourage you to get help with a therapist and psychiatrist if you haven’t.
Are you making offensive comments or sexual comments about women at the gym. I can imagine you either said something really offensive or scary for it to be reported. Please be aware to not make women uncomfortable and treat all people with respect. The gym is a place people are going to try and be healthy and they don’t need someone ruining that for them or making them feel self conscious or scared.
We need more context on what you said but No one here can diagnose you. You should really discuss with a doctor. All I can say is the golden rule applies "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Treat people with respect as that is what you want in return. I’m sorry if someone ever disrespected and body shamed you.
So, when the lady with the dog came to the door, (like I said I was upstairs, and didn't have my phone on me) And my mother called me, and asked if I heard the doorbell? When I got the phone with her, I played the video, that ring recorded,
And the lady with the dog, was on speaker phone with another lady, as the lady with the dog was walking away........I could hear the lady on speaker......say to the other lady; Not to ring the doorbell, That people with O.C.D repress....That's all i heard.
Sorry about the typo's, I try to proof-read and edit the best I can.......But, sometimes still get typo's.
At leas You got the point.....somewhat
Sexual harrassment if that's what you're talking about often isn't tolerated anymore
People stand up against it
I agree to not make sexual comments or follow women at the gym
If you're interested in dating there are more appropriate ways to meet women
I'm sorry if you heard someone saying unkind things about you
Gossip can hurt a lot...xo
I am NOT type of person. to go around making lewed comment's toward women.....I think Those were minor episodes. I didn't have any sexual contact with them, nor did I touch them>
Lately I haven't done that. I know I have issues, And would like to address them with someone who understands.
In regards to dating, I have alot of anxiety about that.......Right away, when I start finding a girl I want, my mind reverts to marriage and kids......And their are those who have their whole lives planned out already.
I was talking with a girl on a disability website, the very first thing she asked me was: did I want to call her, second day did I want to get married in her temple.
I was a little confused about the flow of events here, but what I am understanding is that there is somewhat of a pattern where women have not responded well to you?
I don't want to judge harshly as I wasn't there, but I will say as a female we are dialed in to when we feel off about something. It's good to be aware of any body language, etc. when interacting with others. Sometimes we don't realize the impact of our behaviors, while others may have a different perception.
Best to you-
