This is badically the same message I posted on Breakups and Divorce Board.  I came here 8 years ago, shortly after the death of my middle son in a car wreck.  I have dealt with a nervous breakdown in 1985 and diagnosed with depression in 1995.  I lived a hard life as a biker,an alcoholic and drug user for years.  Since I have been through all these things, I felt I could be a help to others.  Ever since I have been a Christian, I have strived to be a blessing to others.


If I have touched your life in a good way or helped you along this pathway we call life, then, me being here has not been in vain.  It is time now for me to step aside and let others do what they do.

I had that same idea about NA as I had stopped dope long before I stopped Alcohol....I thought I could help someone....when I lived on Guam I did NA and AA as my primary 12 step recovery...when I returned to Mainland USA in St. Louis, MO I tried NA meetings but kept AA my primary 12 step recovery program....NA tried to tell me to stop going to AA that they were all inclusive and they were all I needed.....I dumped NA very quickly after those thoughts coming from long time NA members....

Yes, you have touched my life in a positive way. When my faith wained you were there for me with faith based reasons to stay strong, and it always helped!

I wish you luck and happiness where ever you go; and I know that you will always be able to make bad situations better no matter where you go.
