Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Hi, I'm Bryan. Honestly not sure what to say without sounding like I'm just complaining about my life to strangers to get attention. Not that I feel that is what this is, just hate the feeling of being a burden or hinderance to others, especially those I don't even know.
I guess to make a long story short, I have a rather long medical history that is kind of rare. Growing up I was pretty ignorant to all the conditions I have, so it my childhood was somewhat normal. Just a lot of hospital visits and doctors appointments. It's what is happening now that has shown me that I'm not like everyone else. In 3 years I've been hospitalized 54 times via emergencies. Everytime I see that those that go through similar situations are double my age or more. Doctors telling me constantly that their are no fixes to my conditions and that I just have to live with being this way, and to be honest it is killing me faster than these health conditions are....
Not sure of what I can do to even help ease the strain, but I'm hoping that talking things out and being a support for anyone who are facing problems of their own can help. So, I guess I'm here if anyone needs, and hoping that maybe I can ease this heaviness on my mind and heart.

I have toys. So the ones I have not used or need any more, are gone in the trash. One of my toys is just a regular hand held massager with an attachment. The other is a real insertable toy. This morning I ordered a new toy with attachments. It is small and has a brush like attachment and the other looks like a rose with a tiny tongue. I'll get it in about 2 weeks. Rechargable and...

I can't believe this has gone on this long. So I don't have much hope of getting a tech job, but I saw an educational job that I thought might be really good. It would have been working at a university supporting high school students who are taking college classes. I did a mock interview with a friend and prepared extensively. It was at the university that I graduated from. I was very excited...

Man ... that's rough. I don't know if it matters that you name some of your diagnoses .... because we are not likely able to help you much medically speaking. Bring 'em up if you wish. Might gain you some kind of unexpected support here.
Otherwise, .. what comes to my mind that would maybe give you something good is to become a public speaker since some of your conditions are rare.
Take to educating people and you may even become a celebrity.
Life is very tough for many people ... and those who make something of it have an advantage.
Like I say, given the info provided, not sure what else I can encourage.
I am glad you are here with us. I hope you find help, and will bet you can offer some too.
Very pleasing to hear. Thank you for the update.
