I am somewhat anxious (more than I have been) because I won't see my therapist until the 12th, and she is in Mexico, so I have literally no way to communicate with her. It's not only that. I just worry that I will start to go back downhill after I start these medications. I'm afraid that they won't work. I don't know. I'm just anxious. Maybe that's my brain just trying to find something to ruin this good mood. I wouldn't be surprised, honestly. I don't know.

I could, but she is the only one I've had such a good connection with. She will be back in like 9 days. I will see her again the 12th, but it's just hard not seeing her this week, too.

((((flynn)))) It's hard. it can take so long to find that person that therapist that we just gel with. so when we can't see them, it's anxiety.

Did she leave someone to cover for her while she is away? Maybe since you gel with her, you might gel with someone she trusts her practice to while she;s away.

Do you have any close friends, family members, co-workers, etc. who can provide you with some support while your therapist is gone? Maybe just knowing that someone else is just a phone call away to support you will give you the strength to get through these next 9 days? I'm guessing that your are probably "stronger" that what you give yourself credit for, so just knowing that someone else is here for you may give you the strength to keep going.

Thanks everyone. She gave me another therapist's contact info just in case, but I feel like it would be weird since she doesn't know me or my history or my story. I do talk to my mom a lot, so that helps.

You have a wonderful therapist! She make sure you get enough support while she is away. Good for her and you too. I’m also glad that you talk to your mum a lot and it helps. Hang in there! It’s only 7 more days to go and you can do it! Press on! God bless!
