Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
And I know it can be hard when you are not feeling well to take good care of yourself, but it is good to check in and make sure that you are providing yourself with some essentials: bright foods, drink plenty of water, exercise and take time to be grateful for those things that we do have. Are you providing yourself with your essentials? You are worth it and deserve to feel good.

Are you on meds? Are you taking them? Have you discussed this with your doctor? Medication can normalize disturbances in your neurotransmitter function. Major depression can be complex, and involve your genetics, the biochemical, your family, and spiritual factors as well.
One thing I would also suggest: try to get outside yourself and be a help to others. Is there a mission nearby that needs help serving lunch? Maybe there is a kids club, a church homeless outreach effort. There are lots of ways to help and in helping, you will find you feel better! I have prayed for you and your situation. Blessings.
