If i feel a presence in my room at night and have mild hallucinations does that mean that I'm schizophrenic, think I'm losing my mind, feel that im losing my mind and everything good in my life. Glad I have some sanity left for the moment.

Hi,man.There are different levels of shcizo.I've met people who seem almost normal,but were diagnosed schizo.I think everybody,honestly,has a few screws loose,and there might be more undiagnosed schizophrenics out then diagnosed.Anyway,this might give you something to go on.

Do you have a psychiatrist? That's not really a normal thing to have. Do you have thoughts of harming yourself or others? Of so, please call 911. If you have a therapist I would call them as soon as you can.

You sound fine to me. I suggest that you keep telling your experience to the rest of us. I have seen things too. Am I crazy? hellifino. But I am not locked up, I am going to retire to a good life in less than four months, and I have had depression since I was 12. 62 now.

Sane is vastly overrated. If you want to chat sometime, I am Bob CJ. I am a site character. Earned it by staying around for a long time. Happy to hear your share. Keep coming back.

I would check it out with your doctor (family doc first if you don't have a shrink). Since it happens at night, could it be part of a dream state? (the hallucination part). Feeling a presence can mean many things.
I wouldn't panic. Talk to your doc. Maybe they'll order a sleep study. If you were shizophrenic I think that you'd be hallucinating during the day too and would have other symptoms (just my thoughts). Good luck.

Also, I'm spiritual so if I were to handle your problem in a spiritual manner I would command the presence in your room to leave in the name of Jesus. sounds crazy but i've done it.
