"I am still happy with my amazing boyfriend, but I feel so alone."
So are you saying you can only be happy when you are in his company??
If so, then I don't think you understand happiness. It comes from WITHIN. It has to because you lose it when you are not with him, or not with a lot of money, or not famous, or not with whatever it may be that is OUTSIDE of yourself.
When it is IN yourself, you are never without it.
You are describing a codependent relationship (if I understand your post) and they don't often work out. That is when person A gets all their happiness from person B. It doesn't work.
1. Person B has to 'be around' for Person A to be happy.
2. It puts a burden and responsibility for Person A's happiness on Person B.
3. Person B eventually wants OUT.
You need to study the term HAPPINESS and understand where it comes from and how to find it. There is a ton if information on the subject on the Internet.
Start with 'how to find happiness' on Google. It is something that HAS to be learned. Babies (usually) get it from their Mother ... automatically. We don't know how to find it once Mom is out of the picture because we are not taught.
Learn about it. Happiness is INSIDE us ... it doesn't come from the outside and last very long ... as you are discovering.
I've had these same type of nights feeling incredibly low and sad. For me I often have to be patient and in time I will crawl out of my funk and start to feel better. A good night's sleep helps. A bath and aromatherapy helps. Your mind and your body needs pampering and nurturing. Be kind to yourself as you get through this.
