need hazardous chemicals list

My dad needs a list of the harmful chemicals he is exposed to at work. He is afraid of asking for it. He is close to retirement. He has pulmonary fibrosis, serious illness due to the silica dust he has been exposed to on a daily basis. Is there anything online we could look for? Maybe I'm not putting the right words on the search engine online. Any advice on this?

the doctor asked him to get a list of the chemicals that he is exposed to at his job?

He's going to have to ask the people at work, or you're going to have to go tell us exactly what he does, that would be helpful.

There is a book of MSDS. It is Material Safety Data Sheets. It is required to be available to everyone in the company and easy access to first responders. This became law years ago when hazardous materials were being taught to first responders if not years ago. If the company refuses to let someone see them or if they don't have them the company is in violation of federal law...talk to a lawyer

If he is in the US, the EPA may be of some help.

He could ask

"how can I obtain a list, from my employer, of hazardous materials used in my work place?"

or something like that.

By LAW in the USA they have to supply it to him. Its called the right to know act and is enforced by OSHA !
