just stay focused on the big prize, that is your job, i would advise if your not in a raltion ship. like marraige do not start that can take away your foucus but you can do it

It's also not healthy to alienate yourself on a computer with no real human contact. Try to get to a happy medium or going out and being on here. Everybody is valuable in with great world of ours and I am sure you will find your place too.

If being here on DS helps then by all means keep posting.

Thank you! I do think this helps. I am not alienating myself on a computer. I need there to be people that can help me stay on track and not let me disappear. I do not have any friends here that I can talk to about any of these things. I am trying to make new friends but it is really hard and I have a lot of trust issues. At least on here, I know that everyone wishes me well and understands what I am going through. I will keep posting at least in my journal. I end up slipping when I stop doing the things that help me. Thank you for helping me.

I"m new here and having the same difficulties as you... I've been so upset and I don't have many friends around either. I'm trying to find a job too but for the time being I'm home all the time in front of my computer and it makes me feel terrible. I'd love to chat with you and maybe we can keep each other company.

If you feel safe and less alone by joining in and posting often, then DS is a wonderful tool for you.
When I came here DS absolutely helped me feel less alone and also I gained confidence in myself.

I just want to say congrats for recognizing and reaching out when you need it. You are stronger than you realize... not just in recovery physically but also emotionally. Even just having someone to talk to should help (and I am readily avaliable if you need to chat via msger or anything - Just add me as a friend). You don't need any outside strength... like a boyfriend or even family. Every ounce of you is more than competant in what you are attempting to do. Even if this paticular job interview doesn't go your way... it'll just be a test run. Personally I think you got the stuff to rock it... It's only one step in the thousands you're making in life.

Just keep your head up high and rock the world the best way you know how!
