Hi All...
Since I was 17 I've battled what I believe might be some form of depression. My 17th year I was all over the map. One minute I was happy and the next I was pissed for no reason. I was fine a year later until I was 34 I had a 2 week period where I literally was awake for 2 weeks straight. I wasn't tired. That winter I got the point where I had to force myself to go food shopping because I didn't want to leave the house. Then I was fine. In the past year I have disconnected, don't care, have unbelievable anger, keep pushing my boyfriend away, feel hopeless, I start fights, and I can't stay away carbs like candy and sweets. A year ago I stopped telling my boyfriend I love him in person and on the phone. I only text it. In the past 6 months I stopped telling my daughter that I love her. She tells me and I say it back to appease her. Any thoughts?

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

Maybe the doctor could give you something to help you through this.
I am a firm believer that if you jump into medication without understanding what is going on you may mask things and make your overall recovery harder to plot out.
Being symptom free for so many years only to have the symptoms come back suggests to me that you were triggered by something. You may not even be conscious of what the trigger is/was!
Gentle hugs
ThePepperMan, I am going to see a prescriber tomorrow. I've been waiting for this since August. I know what's causing my depression. I have no control over it and won't for 1-2 years. I don't know if I was symptom free for years or just ignored it because it wasn't that bad.
