Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Now that I am truly fat and ugly, I realise what an idiot I was to believe other people over myself. I was 'plump.' 120lb I believe. Oh crime, oh shame. NOT! Dear lord.
School is no fun, and I don't know who thinks it is. Even teh popular kids come out years later with how bad they thought they had it. how desperate they were for friends, the things they were prepared to do to stay popular - like pick on the quiet kids, the odd kids, humiliate and make others miserable.
My heart BLEEDS for them of course. BLEEDS. (not). give me a baseball bat. Let me show them blood.
Nobody at school likes you? That's such good news. Nobody worth anything had a good time at high school. you will go out into the real world with actual adults who don't take or dish out the kind of crap teeangers take and dish out. You'll probably have twelve hangers-on within a fortnight. Honestly - don't believe the high school kids. They're ghastly. They're hideous. Varsity's not a lot better but when you're out working? That's when you finally get to be treated well. Everything changes.
