my friend is missing

I have an online friend who works at the airport in Brussels. Ive tried to call him and all I get is his machine. His cell is turned off....its NEVER turned off. He is on line every day and yet his account isn't active.. I think he is gone.Im about to explode and I have to rant when the news comes on and talks about islamophbia as if Im the one with the problem. If this crosses any rules here then please close it immediately CLs.
Im really looking for an answer to this rant.

WTF is islamophobia? Lets break it down...we all know what islam is and what its capable of doing. A phobia is defined by the Mayo clinic as and I quote...A phobia is an overwhelming and unreasonable fear of an object or situation that poses little real danger .

Hey cakeasauras I was referring to labelling islam with a phobia the same as homophobia...I don't agree with nor can I comprehend homosexuality. Am I homophobic because I don't agree? I have a family member who is homosexual and I love him to bits...I associate with his friends and through them I have a handful of homosexual friends so no its not a phobia its a disagreement When you migrate to a foreign country you are expected to assimilate and follow the laws of the land. Islam followers have no desire to accept any laws except sharia law and this is where the disagreement prevails.

I think it is a mistake to consider all of "anything" to be identical. While it is true that all hubcaps coming off an assembly line are identical (OK, after inspection!), not all Muslims are the same, not all Christians are the same, not all Jewish people are the same, etc etc etc.

There is a huge divide in the Muslim world between Shiite and Sunni. In the Christian faith there dozens of different branches, and even among a branch (like Baptist or Presbyterian) there are differences that divide.

To a certain extent I blame our President and his party since they seem unwilling to talk about these terrorists as radical violent Muslims.

Back to the Westborough Baptists, I don't know anybody who considers themself to be a Christian who also considers the Westborough Baptists to be Christian.

While that does not solve the problem that they are, it at least defines it better.

I met him online years ago on a global chat site so no there is no one I know mutually. Im going to give it 2 weeks if I hear anything I will let you know.
I think what Im trying to say pepper is the only organized group in the world that intolerant of every other organization is the Islamic. Youtube is plagued with videos from all over the world citing violence. The last time Christian did that was during the crusades. Remember the fire cracker in the turban? There was global muslim back lash over something that childish.Its my belief that the Islamic organization has an ulterior plan to conquer Christianity and abolish it. I hoipe Im long dead before that war starts...I pity or children .

I pray your friend is in hosp or getting care and does not have his phone. think of the chaos in this of everyone trying to make calls, from all over the world to loved ones and friends. He also may have family he lost or hurt, and not able to communicate right now. Check with your local news station, to see if there is a site you can reach out to in friends area. News media has all kinds of ways to get the news, so possibly, an avenue could be open this way for info. Just a thought. also check with the Red Cross. they helped a family with earth quake situation...to find out their friends were o.k. It might take some time, but will give you some comfort you're doing some thing to find him. Hugs...

I got a call from his mother or sister??? Through their Dutch and my lousy German I got the understanding they identified part of his hand and a family ring. He was at ground zero. With what Im thinking and feeling right now I would be arrested. The lightest thing I can say is they need the order that was once there in 1939. Maybe its not right but its needed...this is way out of control
