My DIL fell down & broke her arm :-(

My dear, sweet daugher in law fell down & broke her arm today. There was a sheet of ice all over town today. Several people fell & injured themselves. My DIL has a 9 month old baby to take care of & is in alot of pain..I was just thinking last night: everything has been going pretty smoothly for about 2 weeks, what ball will drop next?? Well, this is it. Is it just me, or is that a cynical way of thinking? It just seems when everything is drama-free, something happens! Well, this is it. They have no health insurance either, so my hubby & I will have to help them financially-which is okay, but we are not rich people. Oh well, such is life!

I know exactly what you mean. That happens to me to. Every time things go great....Pow out of nowhere chit hits the fan.
I am sorry your DIL is in pain and broke her arm. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Huggs

I am so sorry that happened to your DIL. I do think that is a cynical way of thinking, but when we are depressed we tend to think that way. Sometimes it feels we get hit with wave after wave of problems.

That has gotta hurt. Sorry that happened to your DIL and to anyone else who slipped on ice.
I hope she's got help with the baby. That's not an easy job at the best of times.

I kinda get like that sometimes, waiting for the other ball to drop. But that is life. . Good and bad stuff happens.

There has been a lot of black ice in my mobile home park lately when I walk Anny and I have accidently slipped a couple of times. I got lucky and didn't fall. But it's scary. Tell your DIL that I hope she is feeling better soon... Take Care hon.. Hugs GB

I'm so sorry your DIL fell and broke her arm.. bless her heart. and with a young baby. I am sure your son and your daughter in law are very grateful you and your hubby can help them out with the bills.. they are lucky to have you both. I know how it is to feel like things are going good and then the ball drops. Hang in there........ sending big hugs and feel better prayers to your daughter in law and big big hugs to you.

I am hoping your daughter in law feels better. I broke my arm the same way back when I was in kindergarten.

Ok, im somewhat cynical, maybe unrealistic. Thank you all for your kind words & prayers. I am praying she will heal quickly. I am trying to give my troubles to God the best I can. Its difficult sometimes. I appreciate all of you!
