Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
this is her first time time in life and she looks to you for guidance. My children seen me go down with the worst case of depression 'ever.' There were six of them at home. IT was their mom that pulled every thing through. Not by taking control, but by just being there and being MOM! It has been three years since I realized I was depressive and had to come to the terms of why I was so. But, The little ones had the opportunity to see me deal with it.
So ur on welfare only you know that your daughter doesn't, she just knows that her mommy is special because she ... well because you just are and that's the way it is...
Money is overrated, food and clothing is not niether is a roof .
I know I'm suppose to be cheering you up, but I'm getting to that part. I have 3 boys ranging in age from 18 to 32 and a great husband who I'm sure I give more than his share of grief. I am comfortable financially now so things do get better. Whenever I think of suicide I always think of my boys because my dad committed suicide when I was very young and I couldn't do that to them especially the one who has Asberger Syndrome. My psych once asked me if I was suicidal and I told him yes I feel so terrible some days that I think about it but I have responsibilities so it is not an option. As for the kids being suicidal you never really know who will end up going through with it. Two of my kids have depression but I'm not too worried about them attempting suicide at least not the traditional way, they may eat or starve themselves to death depending on which one we are talking about.
Anyway, just wanted to reach out to you since I could relate so well to what you are going through and let you know that things can get better and most likely will. Just hang in there and do the best you can for now.
