Ive read a few post today & I can’t believe how many people feel like me. If I told you how I dealt with the problem would you accept the advice or would you believe it was just a random stranger telling you nice things? Cuz that’s how it always sounds to me.
I’ve paid lots of money on therapy and here I am. 34yr old woman who struggles every day with her life. So much that I’m using other things to cope with my problems. I stress eat and as a result have gained so much weight that I’m pushing 220lbs. And if that doesn’t work, I drink. Which I’m currently doing every day. I’ve tried more productive ways of dealing with my issues like working out and going out for walks, but I get frustrated & can feel the pain so I run home to drown the pain with rum.
I was raised believing in a higher power, but I have felt like this since I was 6yrs and my mother told me it was my fault my father passed away (a heart attack) cuz I was such a bad girl. Since then I have felt like all of you. A pain so deep that the thought of anyone caring about me seems impossible. I can fake it on good days, but that pain is always there.
