Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I get lost in it, too.
Go out be around people, just because you don't want to socialize, make yourself stay out and window shop or sightsee...that doesn't require talking to people.
If you want to get away from home, then get away from home, go to a park, walk around or take a blanket and lay in the sun, that's straight Vitamin D and it's great for Depression.
Not wanting to be around people is fine, heck I don't want to be around them when I feel great, nothing wrong with being an introvert! But go to a movie, go grab lunch, go to the library and read a book.
The more you can get out of the house, the quicker you can break the cycle of Depression. Just taking a 20 minute walk in the sunshine twice a day is clinically proven to help. Lots of extra Vitamin D.
Take care,
kat
