Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
But it's too late now, I've gone without for 50 years, 50 fucking years.
I have no one to stay alive for, I want to die so badly, I pray for death every night, and sob when I wake up alive each day.
Life is hell, I need someone living with me who loves me
And it's not going to happen, Life is agony
I am very ill, and I so deserve help. I've been looking for help for 50 years. That is such a long time when each day has been misery. Over 180,000 days of pure misery. It's made me what I am now.
You say it's not too late to find help, but I say each day I go without it is a day I will never get back. It's a day lodged in my memory as a day of misery, that's all that fills my brain - memories of all the days I've gone without help. I so wish I was dead.
Meeting guys isn't the problem, it's finding a decent one who cares about me that seems impossible.
But, you can be loved, because you are able to love. Love is the opposite of hate, and every time you do not experience hate, there IS love right in front of you. It may not be speeking or grabbing you and holding you tight, but it wants to in its own little way. Even if you can't make it do the things you want it to do, provoke it simply because you know it is there, and you will be loved.
Ok, now look at me funny, cause I know I babble.
They are just my thoughts.
That is why I called this post Lost Hope
I will never find what I need and really wish I was dead
Life does not equal a life partner. So the trade off isn't fair. LIfe is so much more than that.
I'm 55 and there are many things that bitterly disappoint me, things I will never have, and never have had. I have to try to find a way to keep going in spite of the reality that those things are lost to me. It's so hard NOT to focus on the misery, but I think we just need to keep distracting ourselves if possible, until the pain lessens.
