Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
maybe this is trying to tell you to love yourself more and know the value of your worth and when that is all taken care of then love will find a way bug hug and hope you feel better soon
As for your brother. Please accept his concern and try to bring yourself to open up to him. I will guarantee that it will help. My sister and I were close. We were there for each other, but recently we have grown further and further apart. Now we are so separated by miles and years, that it is uncomfortable to even have a brief conversation. Please don't let this happen w/ your brother. He is there for you and you need him. He may even want to feel that you need him. Just don't let him go. Stay close. He loves you.
Please talk to your brother. He won't see you as weak. My ex husband has Depression and Anxiety and while we were together he would never talk to me. I would constantly see him sruggling and it hurts to see someone you love shut themselves away.
If your brother is reaching out to you the way you say he is, he is probably feeling the same way. He obviously wants to help you and a loving family is the best thing for you right now. Give him a chance.
Big hugs to you and best wishes.
