Hi all I have health anxiety Ocdwith depression. I take busprione and my Dr just started me back on my Lexapro and kolonopin (to help me calm down until the lexapro kicks in). Of course this pandemic from hell has me as well as all of you on the biggest fear trip out of our lives.


My question is about depression everyone professional like my therapist and Dr. All say that anxiety and depression go hand and hand if you have one you most likely have the other. How is that so? I surely know I am a panic attack over worry queen but the depression part do I have that it seems that I am always so keyed up when would I be down? Any advice

I usually am not depressed unless it's about a specific situation. Was diagnosed
with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and OCD. I did have low grade depression
in my teen and young adult years from my life. And the anxiety meds cured that. I don't know. Read up on it more on the internet.

I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. They usually do exist together. For me, when anxiety is so high and prolonged that it overload my capacity to cope, it transforms into despair and depression.

I have cognitive anxiety, OCD, Panic disorder and MDD. My Anxiety crushes my ability to do much of anything other than clean my house. And then I beat myself up for not doing anything i should or could be doing and it causes a lot of depression.

So your depression makes you depressed about your lack of activity because of your depression man a whole mess ain't we

Hi Trudy. I have anxiety and at times, depression. Also, I’m a worrier with an autoimmune issue. My thought is, doctors can give a textbook diagnosis, but we’re all different. I’m mostly anxious but will get depressed about things that happen. Like Restful, I can also get depressed after a long period of anxiety. I’m glad you’re able to take meds. I haven’t found anything that I’ve been able to take. I’m going to try mindfulness and meditation to help get through this hell on earth we are dealing with.

I took my 1st kolonopin tonight and I feel like I'm a lil jittery I keep waking up. Maybe it keys up your anxiety in the beginning. I am just so nervous I keep nodding off and jumping up out of my sleep

I really need help please I need someone to talk to I started my kolonpin and lexapro last night I kept jumping out if my sleep I kept panicking all night long I am up for the day now in a full panic mode I feel like I can't breath right heart pounding and super jittery. Is this from the meds
