I recently joined the paranoia group cause I think when I get down I also can get paranoid. But it reminded me of something that makes me laugh at myself everytime I think of it so I thought I would share, hoping that it may make someone smile.
This was about 6 years ago, shortly after my ex-husband and I split up, we were seperated, but not divorced yet. I wanted the seperation and divorce, and he did not.
My daughter was about 12 years old, and we went to a Festival where I bought the best pepper jelly I have ever eaten. I was so excited about this pepper jelly that I posted about how good it was on facebook. Shortly after I came home and found my pepper jelly jar in the refridgerator, and it was empty. I asked my daughter, who at 12 would not even taste the stuff, she said she hadn't touched it, and I believed her, so I called my parents who were the only other people besides my ex husband who had a key to the house. My ex and I were not on speaking terms at all, I was slightly afraid he was going to start stalking me. Well I got all worked up about my pepper jelly and started telling my mom that I think my ex husband (Mike) broke in my house and ate my pepper jelly cause he saw how much I liked it when I posted it online, she's like "why would he do that" I was like "just to be spiteful" I got myself worked up into such a fit about that I was going to call the police and have them fingerprint my pepper jelly jar to see who ate it. My daughter who was sitting and listening to this said "You've got to have NO LIFE to break into someone's house just to eat their pepper jelly" This statement, and the way she said it brought me instantly back to reality and I began laughing, she started laughing and so did my mom. We still laugh about it to this day.

I hate it when weird things disappear. It just drive you crazy. I had an almost-full bottle of Klonopin disappear and for a while I thought my boyfriend took it. I even broke up with him over it, although we got back together two weeks later. I will never solve the mystery of the missing Klonopin.
Clue to the mystery of the missing pepper jelly, your daughter probably ate it and didn't want to tell you or you did in a fugue state and forgot about it. Jelly out of the jar with a spoon is delicious.
I have had pepper jelly, but despite my name here, I do not really buy much of the stuff.
Gotta change that!
