i got some courage up to ring him.......i asked for doors that actually close, a thermostat for the heating system and ventilation in the bathroom, ( there is no window ) he brought it all down to money......you owe me 140 back rent, so because i owe 1 weeks rent im supposed to live like this ? i want to make this house a forever home, but all he cares about is money, i dont know what to do......i offered to pay 20 extra every month to cover the arrears now he is demanding it in full oin friday, im crapping it, i dont have it !!

I've been waiting for almost 4 months for them to come and repair stuff. I'm getting to the point I'll hire someone and minus it from the rent. But then you fear they'll kick you out. They seem to have all the power...jerks!
well the fact you want this to be a "forever home" should make him be more accepting, the fact he has a for sure that you will be around a while for suring him money. and with no one living there = no money for him. he should learn this. because if you leave he's out money as is.
