not if you have cat allergies....but pets are so loving to humans...unless it is a polar bear...>LOL

When my cat gets all cuddly she does that thing with her front paws where she claws stuff lifting it up and putting it down. It is cute when it is her bedding or something that I don't mind getting torn a bit. It is annoying when it is the T shirt that I am wearing!

But I agree with you! Dogs can try, but they never quite get to the point that cats do!

Animals make the best companions .. IMHO.

Cats use us for a warm place to sleep (our laps), our watchful eye (nobody ever let a dog attack a cat sleeping on their lap!), and our addiction to their soft fur and their comforting purrrrrr. But when it no longer holds their interest, BAM they are gone!

Dogs are ever devoted to us as long as we treat them nice. They tend to lose that soft fur after they are no longer puppies, and they never mastered the fine art of purring! But they are devoted to us forever!

Recently got a kitten, she is getting big quickly, but I still love cuddling up with her for a quick pick me up! :) I have a dog too, but he is still warming up to her-they crack me up watching them play. I think animals can be very therapeutic! Something calming about a warm ball of fur that loves you unconditionally! =D

I love fur baby cuddles, cat or dog. The purr is definitely comforting, it always makes me feel loved. I'm going to end up having tons of kitties eventually.

I found my kitty on my doorstep just in time for the start of some really shitty times. I'm not religious...but it was a bit of a miracle. Dunno what I would do without her now. She is such a sweetie, always knows if I'm sick or upset and need a cuddle.

It is very calming for me to be snuggled with my purring kitty. The sound is so comforting!

I tried to make the bed with my cat on it. She saw it all as a big game.

A game that just needed to be responded to with claws and teeth. But not outright attacks. Like foolishly rubbing the belly of a hyper active cat!

So she got put into her room so I could finish making the bed!

EstefanaDos, it's so weird how they seem to come into your life just when you need them. My boy means the world to me. He has given me so many laughs and so many cuddles over the years. He always greets me at the door when I get home. I can't imagine life without him.

We have one that's a cuddler with my husband only, and one that is a terror on 4 legs. Good thing he's cute.

I love hearing these comments. There is actually a pet appreciation group here for those who are interested. And as far as our cat goes, my husband is always messing wiht him making him do his kitty sit ups and making me laugh. And yes he's a good snuggler when HE wants it. lol
