I'm going into my junior year of high school in September and I'm honestly kinda scared. I think everyone knows that junior year is the hardest in high school because there's a lot you have to do and I'm scared im gonna get really overwhelmed. I'm gonna be taking my drivers test, SATs, visiting colleges, prom etc. and I don't wanna stress myself out. Any advice?

Dont let yourself get too worked up, it really isnt all that bad. Or I should say it isnt any worse than any other year of HS. It seems like there is alot to do, but you will get it done. Dont let it overwhelm you just take one step at a time. Good luck

Junior year can be crazy hard for sure! The tip I wish someone would have given me is to not procrastinate about things that need to be done. Such as SAT prep, or college search. But that being said remember take it one day at a time and worry about things as they come up. One at a time, and when you start feeling overwhelmed remember to breath and take is slow! Best of luck to you I'm always here to talk if you need it!

Don't overload yourself...you still have time for all the hard classes...I packed my schedule so much the first 3 years that I only had 4 required classes my last year...I ended up with filler electives...If you've done well in school than SATs aren't really difficult...no need for cram study sessions...but I was a nerd so what do I know...take some time to breathe and be a teenager because time passes by and if you haven't done anything fun then there's nothing to look back on and reminisce about. People have such great stories about high school, but all I can tell you is how many books I've read and what they were about. Don't forget to live while you're busy planning on how you're going to live.

Take one thing at a time. Try your hardest not to procrastinate which in turn will cause more stress. Prioritize school and projects before socializing ( I know it sucks) but you will have such peace of mind knowing you got your work done. Junior year was definitely the hardest for me. If I could go back I would do exactly what I just told you. Also, give yourself me time. Self care is always important.

One day at a time. Make sure you schedule time to have fun and relax. Everything will not be happening at once. When we worry too much about the future we cannot enjoy the present. You will feel much better when you get into the rhythm of school and focus on what is needed each day, rather than thinking about the whole year which can make you feel overwhelmed. You sound like a very responsible, conscientious student who will make plans and meet your goals.

I'm going into my junior year too and I'm really nervous my anxiety and depression will worsen. But I'm not going to cram my schedule and am just going to take it slow and hope for the best for now.
