Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I came home from work today and discovered another waterline leak under my mobile home.
I can't do anything about it tonight but shut off the water.
It should be COUPLED with medication for those who opt for medication.
I got the waterline fixed yesterday but had too much to do to drag out the shop vac and clean up the soaked . I put down some plastic for now. I have an appointment with my therapist this morning before work. Maybe when I come home today I will get that done.
I have been working on a budget for 2016, as I expect my job is going to end after Christmas.
No, we do not have a bus service in this small town, My coutsin who lives 20 minutes away will take me where I have to go but I hate to take advantage of him for want to go.
God will provide.\
But he got it fixed and I gave him a potholder. And I got a real hug.
So things are looking better for now. Read my thread title.
Well, no. JUST WHEN YOU THINK ......
My relief did not show up for work Wednesday and I had to work double, so I did not (and have not) got that water vacuumed up, She did not come in again yesterday and I learned I am going to have to replace a tire on my old car. SOON. Grateful for the extra money this week but I hoped to use it for other things with Christmas around the corner and my job ending.
Then my computer crashed last night and I have had a hell of a time getting it to boot up. Don't know how long that will last. I may have to put it in a shop.
I am so stressed with all these unexpected things happening and pulling me off my game plan. I am really trying to hang on and do all the right and responsible things, but it is tough.
Last week my relief did not come to work for three days so it was Sunday before I could attempt to clean up the water soaking the carpet in one room. On Thursday I discovered I had another bad tire on my old car. I had been looking for more than a month for a used tire to replace one and been told that size used tire was almost impossible to find, but I did not want to buy a new tire
So now I needed two tires, and a way to pay for them. I did not go to church Sunday because it was raining hard and I was worried about the tires. Then Monday I got my pay for the extra hours I had worked and made the rounds again of the places that sold used tires and at the very last one found the tires I needed. They were even on rims that matched the rims of tires on my car. I was able to pay for the tires with my overtime pay, and had enough left over for a bathroom rug I had been wanting.
God is good.
I am still concerned about my job ending in a couple of weeks and trying to be frugal so I wont get behind on any of the bills, especially utilities during the winter.
I guess he thinks I can further improve if I use my experiences these last 5 months by helping others to the road of recovery for the difficulties they are having.
I do not know what he is thinking. I do know I am very worried about having reliable transportation and having a job next year.
