Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Hi. I just need to know I'm not nuts right now. I live with my grandma and she has severe emotional problems. I 've dealt with it most of my life and it's just that right now I have no family support.
I have really bad anxiety myself and I've asked her many times to please not bombard me with bad news first thing in the morning. Because it's really, really triggering. So yesterday she did it again and I told her I was very frustrated because I've asked her many times not to. Today she's stomping around the house telling me how much I hurt her feelings. Except I didn't! I told her what the problem was and that it was hurting me that she kept doing it anyway. But she's the one sulking around, acting all hurt, and it's my fault somehow.
I know this isn't logical and I'm being gaslit so hard I could solve the energy crisis, but....I could just really use some reassurance :( Thanks

Does anyone follow her? She's really got some good tips.

Maybe try meditation.
Good luck!!
You can also do a google search for "good news". There is a goodnewsnetwork.org but careful because a year ago I got a virus from there, but I think the site cleaned it out since then.
See I have these happen and sometimes it can be a day full or just one time attack! You are in control of what you want to think about and I have learned that sometimes Ill just put that shit on hold till I find a way to deal! Go about looking up some inspirational quotes! To get my day on track! The internet is awesome for that!
