know what you mean ..i got a reply that was quite negative a little while ago. you will find some people are like that but there are some good ones too ..try to weed out the ones that bother you .

there are a lot of judgemental people on here just like in the real world...i have been judged on here heavily at times, especially by right-wing religious fanatics, but i take it in stride...don't let 1 or 2 bad apples ruin it for you, there are way more caring and open-minded people on here than those "judges" of others....

It shouldn't be sweetie. I'm sorry you got such a nasty piece of work when your so new to the site. Your reasons are your own & No one should judge you for them. Please be reassured that were not all like that.

i strongly support a woman's right to choose, and NOBODY should judge anybody on here...nobody knows what anybody on here has really been through...

People here are just like people in the real world. They are brazen. Maybe more so in here because they are behind a computer. I am sorry you experienced this. I am glad you didn't give up on the site.

I had the very same thing happen to me.Those ppl are having their own insecurities and are lashing out.Ignore them and rely on the real Friends you obtain on this website

I didn't read your post, but remember no one else has to live with your choices or reasons for them. I learned long ago not to stress about what other people. Something I have learned in recovery: What anyone else thinks about me, is none of my business.

There have been & always will be negative people. As kids we find them at school and in our neighborhoods. As adults, we find them at work and in our neighborhoods. If we're in chat rooms or on message boards, we will find them there too.

Shake it off and concentrate on the positive people you meet here, Sweetie. You are right, that's not what this site is supposed to be about.

This site has no ladder with people at the top and some below them we have no bosses no room for Judges.

When new comers arrive we do not re-arrange any ladder the people who judge need to step down from that ladder and join our circle of fellowship of friends all eye to eye we are all equal

The people who criticize judge or condem damges the group CIRCLE and can force people to practice isolation
and that is not right.

I know it is the land of the free and the home of the brave and all that good stuff.

Individuals who criticize need to get down of there high horse and take there rightful place in the worldwide circle of love and support that we all need.

What ever choice you make or made is a personal one you are the only person that can decide what is best for you.

People who critize are attempting to force there will on to others and that is not what self help is about.

This aint Judge Judy or a court of law learn to use your ignore button for any one you do not want to let in to your space your head!

All i can tell you is dont let that message get under your skin.I know people dont always agree and i had a message once where someone was complaining that i was not depressed enough. No matter what you do some people will just have something nasty to say but try to rise above it.I KNOW its hard believe me but you cant make them agree or even listen sometimes so best off thinking to yourself "oh well, i know i made the right choice for myself" and thats all that matters

It's not everyone hun. There are some people who just like to come on here and hurt people but most of us aren't like that.

Yes hon your for certain not alone, had a lady the other who i had never met, just really say some awful things, that didnt even pertain to me.

Not everyone here will judge you. In fact, I would go so far as to say that most people here won't judge you. So try not to let it get to you. (((hugs)))

That is just it: People do not know you to reject you (Judge.). Since you know that I will bet two quarters I know why that persons comment so bothered you. People cannot reject/judge you unless you down deep have already rejected/judged yourself. So maybe with some help, work to be quiet, scary as it might be look inside and find those voices that have rejected and judge you and then gently tell those voice to be quiet. In addition, counter those voices with comforting positive attributes of you. Of course, going out and have double banana split with lots of chocolate on top. and you know you deserve it will much help.
