Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
When I quit I used the med Chantix to help me quit and it worked like a charm...it took the cravings away and took all the fun out of smoking too, and actually made quitting pretty easy. I haven't smoked in 9 years.
I hope that your cravings start to ease up and you start feeling better soon...keep up the good work!

The packaging is slightly different from in NZ, so it's hard to identify the ones I would buy. But I bought menthol, and this one:

Not all of their products were that good. it's worth getting a selection to try them out to start, but the thing about that brand was they had the same hand and mouth feel as normal cigarettes, with the same clench at the throat.
So it didn't feel 'off' to smoke them. your body felt like you were having a cigarette.
I basically threw away the nicotine pack the night before and started on the new lot the next day, it too my brain ages to figure out that these cigs didn't pack an punch and then I had this terrible 'these are truly disgusting' experience as my brain tried to tell me they weren't 'really' cigarettes and they tasted foul.
I told my brain it was them or nothing so stick it. I told my brain I was expecting it to get over this in 3 days.
Sure enough - I got over it. They were a great crutch and I don't think I could have quit without them. And it makes you really realise that it's all about the drug, nicotine, because the smoking itself, when you separate that out, just goes away on its own.
