I am jealous of my friends because they are out on their own and living their life. I am stuck living with my parent with no job. I am sick and tired of this situation. I am looking for a job but it is hard where I live. I don't want to be a bad person. I hope I'm not a bad person. I wish I wasn't jealous.

I don't think you are a bad person for being envious of your friends... I feel the same way a lot of the time... but all I can do is start to re-build my life and not compare myself to others (hard skill to learn I know)

Wanting a job for yourself too is totally normal and okay. You are human. It's okay to want what someone else has, as long as you keep yourself from resenting them for having it when you don't.

In this case it particularly understandable. What you want is a job. This isn't a luxury or toy. This is a desire to be a productive member of our society. How can that be wrong? Best of luck. I hope the economy turns around soon, so you and thousands of others can find work.
