It can be so hard sometimes

It's becoming so hard for me to keep a smile on my face lately I recently dedicated my life to christ and trying my hardest to learn how to come to him when I'm feeling down in the dumps. I think it's gonna take practice and time for me to learn how to depend on god

Yes it does. Most of us come from families who did not do a good job of training us with a healthy love that helps us to love and trust God.

Don't worry about keeping a smile on your face all the time. It's OK to not be OK. Find a good church with some genuine Christians who are patient with you.

I am so glad you have chosen to give your life to God!

As you walk your walk of faith the enemy will come to attack you and make you lose focus.

And while the attack begins in our minds as we begin to feel sad and depressed in our spirits we feel helpless and hopeless and unmotivated to reach others.

But as the word of God says in Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" you know God is ready, willing and able to comfort you.

Try to surround yourself with postive people and make a habit of talking to God throughout the day even if it's only to say "Thank You" then in your time of need it might not feel so difficult to reach out to God.

    My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
