Well not really funny but strange. That your animals or someone elses animals that love you can tell when you are sad or depressed.

I have been crying most of the day and alot of it was as work at my sons house. His albino boxer that I raised for quite sometime came in and tried to get on my lap and lick me to death. The more I cried the more he tried to lick me.

Its just very strange to me that animals care more then humans.. What are your thoughts about this?.. rove you rong time.. Y'Vonne

Dogs love salt - that's why he was licking you, LOL! JK

But that's partially why I love my dog to death - she's there for me even when other people aren't. She wants attention 24/7 but when she can sense I'm sad, she'll just snuggle up next to me and lay her head on my lap. I love her to death!!

Something I find odd is that my best friend always says her horses tend to be misbehaved and buck people off. Her dad says the same thing. But every single time Ive ridden those horses they are always so well behaved and gentle. Maybe its because Im sad most of the time? Ive ridden both of her horses many times over the years, wish I could have one:)

no, he didnt climb or should I try to climb on my lap until he knew I was upset.. He was so concerned. I saw him do the same thing when my mom and I became friends after a few years just lately. As soon as she started crying he tried to climb on top of her. We are talking about an 80lb boxer here. He tried to lick me better. I was so amused.

Sorry you have been so sad today.
I have a Boxer actually 2 and I couldn't love a dog more than my 3 yr old, he is so loving and when Im sad or depressed, he is rite in my room with me and whats cute is that he will make sure when he lays down with me, he is making sure that his body is touching mine,the love he gives me is more I have recieved from any human..forreal...
My bf and kids say to me that they would like to be loved on as much as I love on Major,he is my best friend and hes always there..I love my dogs..deeply....

Animals can sense when we are feeling bad. My cat lays with me when I am upset. Hugs hun xoxo

Beastie...Im glad that you are feeling a bit better. As for the Boxer, I had one too, for 13 years and she was the same, if I cried she came straight to me and licked me to death.

I believe that animals can "sense" things..
