What's important to you?

At this moment, the only thing that keeps me going is my two dogs..They are very sick and need me right now. I have to be here to see them through their illness and when they pass on. My dogs have given me more love than people have. Even though this is tearing me up, its what I must do because I love them.

When they pass on, I have no idea what will keep me here..Call me crazy for saying this but people let me down and disappoint me all the time. Personally, I am very sick of the people who are around me on a day to day basis. Thank you for this post..May you find some comfort and peace in your life, Beth

The few days that I can see a real light at the end of the tunnel... The fight..........sometimes its worth it..

My children and my grandchildren ofcourse are of the most importance. My youngest lost his father from alcoholism, he doesnt need both parents gone...

My animals and my family and you guys here.. You are all a big support system for me..

Beth36, I know a lot of folks who feel that they can only relate with their pets; and their pets are the only ones to give them undivided love. I hope that you will find a replacement; even if it's another pet(s).

BW, My son is the only reason why I'm still here. In my darkest moments, I thought about him and did not follow thru w/my intentions. My marriage is crumbling; separation/divorce also means being separated from my son. He calls me his best buddy. He wants to know where I am and when I'm coming home & he runs to me when I do get home. I've layed down with him and thanked god for him as he's sleeps. I don't know how I'll deal with this if he's not around when I reach my low points.

Human life is precious because our creator gave to it to us as a gift. It was meant to be cherished.My family has literally saved my life. Having the love of my wife and children along with that of other family and friends keeps me going. DS helps a lot too you folks are so awesome!!!

My son is the only source for those 'moments' of happiness, contentment, love, etc. If this is removed from my daily life, I don't have anything. I wouldn't know where to search for these necessities to keep me going. Life is drudgingly hard enough already...I don't know how you find that source of peace from within and it frustrates me tremendously - I really hate myself!...

my daughter is my only reason for being here. i hang on each day because she needs me so badly. but some days i have to put on that mask and hide how i am really feeling, how i would just love to give up. everyone says i am so strong, if only they knew how wrong they were.

Honestly speaking...I'm fighting depression because I want to live for my mom, children, grandchild, and 2 sisters. Without them, I may have given up long ago.
