I am so fucking lonely, depressed and anxious. I attempted to overdose twice and spent a week in the hospital just before Christmas. I havent been with anyone since my X left 4 years ago. I dont feel good enough to date and Ive gained around 100 pounds on Seroquel. Men dont want big fat women like me. I used to be thin and miss that. Ive been told it will be near impossible to lose any weight while on Seroquel and I cant go off of it, because my anxiety becomes paralyzing.

I have no friends to talk to. I have no one to talk to. My family is just cruel, says mean things about me to my kids, treat me like shit, like I am worthless because I am on disability for my anxiety and depression.

I dont know how much longer I can take this life and loneliness. Im scared I may try to overdose again. I just want the pain to end.

Summerwind thank you for your reply. I was so upset yesterday I wasnt sure how Id get myself calmed down. Yes I have looked into other colleges and I spent all last night looking over two well respected colleges and the one has the perfect two programs to take and even with taking them both it is only about $6000, so $5000 less than Medix. The great thing is I can take as many courses as I want and do it part-time. The one certificate requires some in college classes, the rest online and the other certificate is completely online. I feel good now about my decision. I have found since being so depressed and anxious and with my past I just can never make up my mind. My pdoc has told me I go from everything is okay to I want to be dead, very black and white thinking. I need to learn to find the grey.

i havent answered yet because i didnt know what to say i feel your pain through your words so strong ......................do you have a councelar to see or a phicatrist i think that would do you good ..........help you to get things off your mind ..........you need ot talk when your family do hurtfull things to you ..........you need toget that out and know that they are wrong and you dont deserve to be treated that way ..........i understand about the weaight gain .............i have been on seroquel to and 3 others one other realy caused weaight gain and i am about 100 over to i got off that other one but am still on the seroquel........now that i am doing better i am trying to go on my walking mashin at least once a day .................sometimes i look in the mirrior and i think i look good other times i look in the mirrior and i think i look ugly i know that is just the depreshion .......you are far form worthless ...............you just have a sickness that has to be trested and you have to fight it .................you may need your meds increased they dont have to increas the seroquel they can add a nother pill .if you feel susidle .....................i am on four diferent antiedepresents ...........and now doing better .....................i wish you luck in your schooling and am very proud of you for being so strong at going about getting your schooling eneway you can ..........................i will keep you in my prayers ..................god bless

I'm right behind you BobCJ...... You are not alone honey and you are loved and cared about here at DS, please don't forget that. If people only judge us by our looks, then they are shallow and do you really want someone like that in your life? Love comes from within as well as on the outside, but I think it should come from the inside first!!!! Don't even try to tell me that you aren't beautiful!!!!! :-) Hugs GB

Thank you muskrattiger. You have the same problem with the weight gain from Seroquel. Thank you for your suggestions. I do have a psychiatrist who is great and will be losing him soon. I am being referred to the Mental Health Hospital. It will be decided then if I need intense inpatient or if they feel Ill be okay outpatient. I request to go to another facility about 2 hours away, but pdoc said the wait list is huge. They have added meds and increased some of them. Im on 3 anti=depressants along with some anxiety pills. I see my pdoc every two weeks right now, but once my referral goes in I can get help that day or the nextno long wait times.
