Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Of course it's normal. Not easy talking to a stranger about things you find difficult, even when you want to go, it's still hard to do and scary. Hang in there.

It is normal to feel the way you do. At first you don't know what to expect and not sure if you are going to be able to talk about difficult things to a stranger you don't know. Once you go, you will find that the therapist through their experience will make you feel more comfortable. It is hard work, but, the end result will make you feel better about yourself. Make sure the therapist is someone you connect with and feel comfortable with. You can always find another therapist if that is the case. The good thing about talking with a therapist is that you won't be judged by what you say. You can feel free to share the things that bother you, your thoughts and feelings. Good Luck,
