Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So three people that are close to me are sick. My dad started chemo for prostate cancer. A family friend has a 5% chance of getting out of the hosptial alive and my second cousin in Germany is dieing of cancer. Sigh...it was bound to happen. I was lucky for my life, limited funerals.

Thank you for sharing. My condolences on all of those things. It is the sad part of getting older in seeing bad things eventually happening to ones who we love, or even sadder in losing those we love. It is continuing on, because they love us, and in helping those we love in respecting them. My Faith is my Hope is those dark times. It is remembering the good times with them and remembering to create more good times as long as they are with us. All four of you are in my prayers. God Bless.

Hi deckard, I am sorry you lost your cousin and that your father and family friend is so I'll. Try to visit with them and be there for them. It can be a lot of stress during difficult times such as what your going through. If you work, or ate busy with other things and have to visit your loved ones it can be very hard. It was very hard for me when my father was in the hospital and than died in the hospital. If you have anyone family or friend, maybe they can help you with things you have to get done or just be a listening hear. You can message me if you like. Continuing to let out things here may help too. My sympathies.
