I am so fucking sick and tired of having images dangled in front of my face of so-called "beautiful" women.. who apparently I am supposed to mimic if I am to be valued in society. I am sick of seeing so many women and girls slathering their faces in makeup, starving themselves, and cutting up their bodies and filling them with hazardous materials.. all in the name of beauty.. in the name of an impossible standard.

That standard was set for a reason. Money. The concept of "beauty" is the best damned advertising scheme this world has seen yet. What better way to ensure a continuous consumer base than to convince people that they must conform to a specific standard which is impossible for them to ever meet, and that your products are able to help them meet that standard? I personally cannot think of one.

So.. here we have millions of women surrendering their meager incomes to their societal overlords day after day in the vain attempt to gain the approval of these gluttonous pigs. Did you know that in the United States alone the cosmetics industry (excluding cosmetic surgery even) brings in twice the amount of money that would be necessary to educate every single child on earth?

Disgusting.

And I am sick of it.

I will no longer make myself a slave to an enterprise which encourages women to cover their faces with hideous makeup, starve themselves, mutilate their bodies, and pump their chests full of hazardous substances.

Open your eyes ladies....

No one has the right to take our dignity, our feelings of adequacy, away from us. No one has the right to tell us we are not good enough. No one has the right to make us hate ourselves for profit.
