Belly is still in pain. I bled again today. I have been told to stay away from painkillers until the endoscopy and I have no weed left to take away the pain.
This is a day where I wish I could sleep through it. No sleep though, too much pain. Just have to sit here, curled up trying to not cry like a little baby.

what is so wrong with crying when you hurt? I do it all the time!

61 years old means hurting a lot. Nearly everywhere. Not so bad to hurt, when the alternative is, well, you know the alternative.

Crying doesnt make the pain go away, its just wasted energy at the moment.
Anyway, Ive been crying alot recently due to fear

I wish I could give you some words of comfort, but I know when in pain it's hard to focus on anything but that. I hope that endoscopy is scheduled soon... I assume you have asked your doctor what you might be able to take to make the pain subside if even for a while..? If not, call your local pharacist, they may offer suggestions as well. Just a suggestion. Good luck and take care of yourself.

aw i symapthise. i, too have been in agony for mths. i was so desperate i took ibuprofen which made it ten times worse cos my stomach was bleeding off it. ive not slept since january so i have utmost sympathy for a fellow sufferer . hope u feel better soon

Sorry my friend. I wish I could take your pain away. My son had gall bladder surgery yesterday.. He is in lots of pain today... I would take the pain for the both of you

Hi

At 69 I certainly do understand pain. I'm going through some myself. Today I start physical therapy and my dr. doesn't even know what's causing the pain. Make sense to you? Not to me!

Anyway I can sympathize. Hope you get some relief soon. Sending hugs.

Are they going to make you wait very long for endocsopy? You shouldn't be left at home if you're continuing to bleed. Might be worth phonong your GP to hassle him.

The only thing that halped Dan was hot water bottles, but I know it barely takes the edge off.

The bleeding did stop for a while this week but today it has been bad again. It happens once, then calms down for the rest of the day. The cramps go too, I just get left with a dull pain in my gut.
The doc said I should get the referal appt within a week. It is torment without a doubt.
Hot water bottles and high-knees seem to be the order of the day
