I didn't appreciate my parents until I left for college 135 miles away. My first Fall break home Freshman year put my parents in a new light. I missed them and respected them........and my Ma did my laundry, but that's beside the point.
So much crap is happening during your teen years, Punkee.
You've got school, friends, your body is doing funky things. All this stuff can build up and force a release at a time and place that may not be the most pleasant. Try to remember that your Ps were teens, too. Ask them about THEIR teen years and how they coped the same issues you're going through right now.
It's okay to "blow up" once in awhile. Just make sure you apologize quickly and clean up the mess as best you can.
