my friends and I were in a skype call when I suddenly remembered I needed to ask my ex about my painting I had given him a long time ago and about some concert tickets. I have had to ask my friend kendra to be the messenger because he still refuses to face me so she asked him but said he had no answers and didnt want to talk to me. I got angry and so did he, long story short kendra just told us to stop. I apologized for snapping at her but I was just so angry that we had to have her as the in between person when we are both capable of talking like adults!

needless to say I learned that he still thinks I'm a suicidal wreck, that i'm obsessessive and will never get over the break up and that all I wanted was any excuse to talk to him. honestly I did but only to stop using Kendra as the middle person, I wanted him to grow up and realize he needed to just face me......and that was childish of me. I cant change him because he refuses to.

he's long gone and now i've hurt myself even more by trying when there was nothing left.

I've been crying so hard and hurting so much.

Yeah it can be hard to get the point when someone leaves us, that they don't want to have anything to do with us. That the door is shut and nothing we can do will open it.

This is all over for him. The picture belongs to him and if he hasn't given it back, you don't get to ask for it. Not sure about the tickets but if they were given, it's over.

Don't talk to him again. Don't get your friends to talk to him again. Put him on 'ignore' in your mind.

I would like to help if I could, I get your point and agree it's ridiculous what your ex is doing, avoiding talking to you, but, maybe it's just his way to get over this breakup, some people act in this way thinking it's easier to overcome... btw if I were you I would be pissed too, I hate when people ignore me in purpose, and it gets harder if it's someone that was used to be so close... I hope you can forget him and get through this rough situation! Hugs

Please don't contact him again or talk to your friends about what he's doing. It will only get you more upset. Let him die from your memory.

I totally understand what you are going through. Let me share my story. I will make it short because this isn't about me this is about you.
I was with my husband 6 years. He committed a crime and went to prison for over 2 years. We lost everything and I landed up going from a beautiful home in the hills to a Shelter with my son. I waited faithfully. He got out only to start using drugs and leaving me 4 months after coming home. One month after leaving he met a girl and he committed crime and was all over the news. He is in prison now for four years. I missed him and kept dreaming of him and I contacted him in prison. BIG MISTAKE… He told m he loved me and felt so bad for what he had done. He said he had to leave because trying to hide his addiction to Meth from me while living in the home was just way to hard.
My point is that when we are left its tragic. Its a big blow to our heart and to our ego.Its been a year and a half since he left and I was such broken hearted crushed mess. Last year at this time I was a basket case. I would cry all day. It was ugly. I am much better now, but dipping into the past was a mistake. It rekindled all kinds of feelings that I seemed to have under control
