Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
At least on here, it helps to not feel so lonely and isolated because people here truly understand how this feels. If you ever need a listener, I will listen. Just please hang on, give your life more time and see what is waiting for you in each day. So many people here care and will listen...Just think about life some more..Think about what you would miss if your not here.
You say you like sports......begin by watching at a game. Become engaged in the activities you enjoy. One minute at a time is all we can work on...........give the meds some time, or seek help if they are getting worse. Don't even think of giving up. There is too much ahead of you that you can't see yet. Step back and relax and give therapy a chance too............
There is hope - I do believe that - for all of us, but not if you give up. We are sensative people, but with a great deal of strength. One minute and then another........
Hugs and prayers,
Karen

What do you say let's give this a few more days and see what will happen. It can't hurt anything can it? If you jump off the cliff, you will never know. What's a couple of days.
I am willing to give the medicine a few more days if you are.
You are correct; ALL will come to an end ... EVERYTHING .. forever.
A much better idea is to stay alive and work on the bad 'stuff' coming to an end. That leaves a lot of good stuff and a life well worth living.
Lean on DS to help, take your meds, feedback to your doctor, and work on it. Depression is very, very treatable and as long as you stay at the plate, a home run is possible.
give it a few more days
i understand how you are feeling believe me
i took a overdose and it caused more problems than it solved
talk with us here and see if this feeling goes
It will feel better, please give yourself a break
As for the meds; I can't advise as to that, since I've never gone the med route. But others certainly have the right idea; see your doctor if they're having negative side effects.
