I'm on riperidone it's a anti psychotic are you on a antidepressant as well? Do you have diagnosis? Some dr don't diagnose people your age so you may not. But suffer other symptoms?

Just going by the riperidone you would have a lot of issues to deal with. I've done about ten years of some sort of therapy. You are like 17 years old so think you really haven't given the therapy a chance. But will get more from it because of your age.

Hang in there it's tough but you can do it. Keep up with everything that your doing.

I'd say i've given therapy a fair chance. Considering i've been in the mental health system since i was 11.

I'm not on an anti depressant. I've only ever been prescribed one medication at a time. I've tried 3 anti psychotic medications and one anti depressant.

No diagnosis.

coming on here is helpful. i don't understand why your therapist and counselor aren't hearing hyou that you're not feeling better. are you making it clear to them? tell them how badly you feel. they are theones who should direct you.

Have you brought up the depression to your doc? You didn't go into your symptoms? It's frustrating with therapy but you get a great deal of support from the right qualified people. There is also a great deal of different types of therapy out there.

I agree with Max. It's time to have a chat with your doc and get a diagnosis so you can be treated properly. Rarely does and individual have just one mental health diagonses. For instance, I have major depression and anxiety disorder. I am being treated for both. My best to you.

I would say to the psychiatrist but i just haven't got the confidence to speak up, he always make me feel so small and irrelevant when i'm in the room. 'Then ask to see another psychiatrist' - refer back to what i said, i just haven't got the confidence to do that either.

Could you print off your post and just hand it to him? There's nothing to be embarrassed about or ashamed of. Besides, he's getting paid to listen to you. Or you could ask your therapist to talk to your psychiatrist about it; or perhaps one of your parents? I hope you can get over your fear and talk openly about how you're feeling. Peace to you.
