Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You are not alone!
I felt this way for years and then I got into therapy and saw a psychiatrist. It took a while to get comfortable to find a ratio but now I am pretty stable and generally feel pretty good. I still have my bad days but it is better.
You wouldn't consider therapy?
What about support groups? NAMI has GREAT support groups for people living with mental illness. I run some in my state and go to a few too. I LOVE them. To share experiences and not isolate.
Good luck!
I just joined this site earlier today and i've been sort of frustrated because i can't find anyone that i feel like i'd be able to talk to and be understood/connect with. I know i shouldn't judge people or whatever, but everyone does it so whatever.
I used to feel a lot more like i didn't know where to start but i've found all sorts of ways to work through my brain.
Message me if you want! I'd be happy to learn more about you and try and understand and whatnot. :-)
