Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I have not been diagnosed with depression but I have been diagnosed with a few things that have fucked up my life and I feel so alone... My boyfriend has threatened to break up with me because of how sad I have been getting and I don't know what to do and I can't trust therapists...

That's not a good boyfriend. He can't handle you. You need someone who would understand. In my experience, I never could get along with so called "normal" people. The only ones who understand are similar sufferers. Lots of them out there. So drop him if necessary and don't feel bad about it because you need to focus on yourself. Yeah issues are tough, therefore we don't need people who choose to not understand us in our life. No fair-weather boyfriends!

Why can't you trust Tdocs? And tell your boyfriend to take a flying leap is he's going to be an ass and threaten you when your dealing with depression and are already stressed and trying to deal with difficult issues....he really sounds like a jerk.

Your boyfriend doesn't deserve you. You deserve better than him. You need someone who is understanding and supportive. I think he is only making you feel worse. If you have seen therapists that you were not happy with then try to find another one. Sometimes it takes seeing several different therapists that you can feel comfortable with. You need someone you totally trust and feel like you can tell them anything. I hope you try to find a new therapist who can give you the help you need.
