I am a desperately lonely 50 year old man. I have no family, friends. I have severe depression and anxiety and some health issues. I just joined Daily Strength for the same reasons you did. I have no friends (except for my two dogs), not accepted by anyone and feel very left out. I am hoping for some support as well.

Do you have a dog? That can be a blessing you won 't believe. My Bubba has been gone for 1 1/2 yrs, but I 'm thinking of another one.
I do have 4 birds....they are very special to me.
Lost my interstate in almost everything. My health is bad and limits my days. Pain lives way to close to me.

Have you tried, no offense to this site, but have you tried the online depression chats or local hospital that may offer in person support groups? I am new here so don't know if a chat is offered here...
Seems like alot of us are in the same boat, but at different docks... :). I am not a social person, but having MG has isolated me even more, and most of my communication is on my computer. I live with my sisters, but you would think we all lived alone. We never hardly see each other, except coming and going...I have been to New Mexico, but now I live in the Smoky Mtns...I hope you find this enough for now. Deb
